Never fear, my 2 ingredient fudge recipe is here to save the day! It's quick and simple, and you probably have both the ingredients in your pantry already.

This 2 ingredient chocolate fudge has all the textures and taste you are looking for with traditional fudge - gorgeously smooth, creamy, chewy and chocolatey, but with less fuss.

And, did I mention it's made in the microwave, too?

The other big plus for this fudgy treat is that it's a great base to add your own flavours to (see my Variations section below).

Top tips

  • Greasing and lining your baking dish/pan will make it easier for you to get your set fudge out of the pan.
  • I recommend lining with baking/parchment paper rather than foil, as the foil tends to tear easily when it comes time to turn it out.

Stove-top directions

  • Combine the chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan and melt together on the stove over low to medium heat.
  • Stir until everything is combined and the chocolate is melted.
  • Then add cooked fudge to a greased and lined tin as per the recipe instructions.

Variations

  • Add a splash of vanilla.
  • Once everything is melted together, add some chopped nuts like walnuts or peanuts.
  • A drop or two of mint essence will turn this into choc mint fudge.
  • Add some sprinkles on top for a fun look.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk?

No.

How to store 2 ingredient fudge?

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  • Once chocolate is melted, mix to completely combine.

  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Notes

  • Greasing and lining your baking dish/pan will make it easier to get the set fudge out of the pan. Make sure you leave some overhang on each side to use as handles.

I haven't made the recipe yet. If I don't have any milk chocolate squares, can I use Hershey's dark chocolate powder? The box gives directions to convert the powder to equal squares.
    Thank you
